1900's

I took MyLeigh to the library today. She has to gather information from 3 sources on an animal subject of her choice. On the way there I suddenly felt VERY old. The conversation went as follows:

MyLeigh: "Mom, were you alive in the 1900's?"
Me:"Yes"
MyLeigh: "So you grew up with black and grey TV?"
She said this with such enthusiasm, like she thought she would never find someone who knew about black and white TV.  I hated to burst her bubble and tell her that I was not that old. She wld have to ask her grandpa.
