JD is 7!

J starts asking,"how many more days till my Birthday" around the beginning of the school year. I tell him the more he asks and counts, the longer it will take. Maybe it is jucst wishful thinking, cause his Birthday comes way to quickly for me. On my kids' Birthdays I find myself reliving the events of their birth throughout the day. I awoke on J's big day thinking to myself, "uh, 7 years ago at this time, I had been up ALL night walking the halls of the hospital. My water had broke at midnight, we arrived at the hospital around 2am and he was born at 12:30pm, no I didn't sleep. I kept watching the contractions on the monitor. Here he is, 7 years later....
J loves legos, the problem is that once he builds something, he doesn't take it apart...EVER.
YES, books! Sportin his new batting helmet
His own Basketball
Once again, he wanted cupcakes for his cake. Just. like. this. Nothing fancy. Just with letters. (good. cause I don't have a clue how to do fancy things) But, there is custard inside of them.
J took donuts to school to share with his classmates and got to pick what was for dinner. He chose Tony's pizza. Yes! cardboard box pizza. Not Papa Murphy's, Pizza Hut, Dominoes. TONY'S?!?. Well, whatever makes you happy. And it was pretty easy.
