I was going through my phone and remembered I had taken these pictures for a blog post. This is what Mady's room can look like after an hour of playing. ( these are taken on 3 different days) I have tried everything I can think of to get her to clean up after herself. I have not had any of the other kids make messes like she does. There are days when I will get her dressed and she will put her pajamas back on and then go through 4 more pairs of pajamas. (Cause they are comfy. I must admit she is right)
As of right now there is a big tote in the top of her closet with her toys in it. She has to ask for something and I get it down. She has to clean that up before I will get something else down for her.
There are honestly some mornings where I just have to shut the door and not look at the mess cause it truly makes me feel that my day is ruined knowing how messy her room is and that even if I clean it, it doesn't last.

when you figure it out...let me know :) I have a few kids that have disasterous rooms!
Oh, I have so many of those pictures from when Garrett was little. I finally took everything out of his room that wasn't clothes or his bed so that all he could do was sleep in there. Luckily, Cole isn't really like that.
I totally agree with shutting the door and letting it be "out of sight, out of mind" . . .I implement that ALOT in their play room. GOOD LUCK!!
